Blitz 01214 battery (DE) 6V 12Ah, GEL is a maintenance-free gel battery designed for motorcycles with a 6V electrical system. The battery is ready for immediate installation and does not require acid filling or activation.

The gel design is suitable for normal motorcycle operation and offers easier maintenance compared to conventional batteries with liquid electrolyte. The package includes screws and nuts for cable connection.

Technical specifications:

First use:
The battery is ready for immediate use. This is a gel battery and therefore does not require acid filling. If the battery needs a slight recharge before first use, this is not a defect.

Normal operation:
The regulator setting remains at 7.2 V. The battery voltage is 6.5 V. If the voltage drops below 6.2 V, recharge the battery. For motorcycles with stronger vibrations, we recommend using a suitable pad under the battery, such as rubber or foam.

Charging with an external charger:
If the battery is not used for a longer period, recharging may be necessary. Do not overcharge the battery and use an automatic charger. Maximum charging current: 2 A.

Storage:
The recommended storage temperature is above 0 °C. If the motorcycle will not be used for a longer time, disconnect one battery terminal to prevent discharge.

Disposal:
The battery contains lead. Disposal must be carried out in an environmentally friendly manner according to applicable regulations.
