The JAWA–ČZ 125 type 355 and JAWA–ČZ 175 type 356 motorcycles belong among the legendary small Kývačka models of Czechoslovak production. They were developed in the mid-1950s through cooperation between the JAWA and ČZ brands as a continuation of their joint production following the Pérák models. These motorcycles were designed for versatile use—from everyday commuting to longer journeys—and remain very popular among classic motorcycle restorers.

The JAWA–ČZ 125/355 was powered by a 125 cc two-stroke engine, while the JAWA–ČZ 175/356 used a more powerful 175 cc variant. From a design perspective, these models were based on the earlier JAWA–ČZ 125/351 and JAWA–ČZ 150/352 types, sharing many components and technical solutions. Thanks to their simple construction, availability of spare parts, and durability, these motorcycles are still frequently restored today.
