JAWA 500 OHC Spare Parts

The JAWA 500 OHC motorcycle ranks among the rarest and most technically interesting machines of Czechoslovak production. It was manufactured between 1952 and 1958 and represented the flagship model of the JAWA brand. It featured a four-stroke twin-cylinder engine with a displacement of 488 cc and an OHC valve train driven by a bevel shaft – a very advanced technical solution for its time.

The model was produced in three versions. The first was Type 00, a low-volume pre-production version from 1952. It was followed by the JAWA 500 OHC Type 01, the first mass-produced version introduced in 1954. Production was later concluded with Type 02, which brought technical improvements and partial modernization.

Thanks to its high performance, touring character and precise engineering, this motorcycle became a legend and today belongs among the most valuable JAWA vintage motorcycles, sought after by collectors worldwide.
