The JAWA 50 Pionýr types 550 and 555 belong among the first post-war small motorcycles of Czechoslovak production.
The JAWA 50 type 550, commonly nicknamed “Pařez”, was produced from the mid-1950s and became known for its simple construction, low weight, and reliability. Thanks to its distinctive shape and robust engine, it became a popular means of transportation as well as a symbol of its era. Its successor, the JAWA 50 type 555, introduced a more modern design, improved suspension, and greater riding comfort. With better ergonomics and technical refinements, it became even more popular among both younger and older riders.
