It was followed by the JAWA 50 type 20 with its distinctive “side covers”, which introduced a more modern appearance and improved riding comfort. The JAWA 50 type 21 was a lighter and more elegant version of the popular Pionýr, intended mainly for younger riders. The peak of development was the JAWA 50 type 23 Mustang, a sport-oriented version of the Pionýr that still enjoys cult status among collectors today.
