Motorcycles JAWA 350 types 634, 638, 639 and 640 belong among the legends of Czechoslovak motorcycle production. A transitional step between older and more modern models was the JAWA Bizon series, specifically the JAWA 250 type 623 and JAWA 350 type 633, which introduced a significantly modernized design, a new frame, and unconventional technical solutions. Although the Bizon was produced only for a short period, it has become a sought-after collector’s model and an important milestone in the development of the JAWA brand.

The success of the Bizon was followed by the robust twin-cylinder JAWA 350 type 634, often nicknamed “Konopnice”, produced from the 1970s and valued for its simplicity, reliability, and characteristic two-stroke sound. Modernized versions JAWA 350 type 638 and JAWA 350 type 639 followed, bringing a new design, improved brakes, higher performance, and more comfortable touring characteristics. The final evolution of this development line was the JAWA 350 type 640, popular mainly due to its classic appearance and good availability of spare parts. This category also includes the popular touring variants JAWA 350 TS, which offered technical modifications and increased riding comfort.
